Work for Yourself

Until you work for yourself, no matter how nice your boss, you will live according to his or her destiny, not your own. For a short while you may benefit from the arrangement of working for someone else. However, if you want complete freedom, you need to call your own shots and be in complete control.
If it is not possible for you to be self-employed, then begin by finding a path to freedom in your employment. Assess your talents and gifts¯what do you enjoy and what do you do exceptionally well? Learn what they are and develop your inner gifts. You need to keep yourself adaptable and know that you can move at an instant, if you so wish. Always know that you are a free agent. Have as many options as possible, and develop other income-producing ideas. This will grant you fluidity and self-empowerment.
When you are working in a job just to survive, it becomes boring and dull. This drains your energy. You may want to keep your current employment, but in your spare time, decide what you love to do, what you want to do and start taking action right now in that direction. Be patient. Things always take longer to materialize that we expect. Being paid for what you love to do is one of life's great joys.
Your Word
The words you speak make up your entire life. Through words you manifest your existence.
We live in a world which reflects back to us exactly what we put into it. Your word is the most powerful tool you have. Your word can create a wonderful life or a miserable life¯the choice is yours.
If you want to change your life, change the way you use your words. This will change the way you feel about yourself. Your mind is like fertile soil where you plant seeds daily. What are saying about yourself? What seeds are you planting?
Every time you catch yourself saying something negative about yourself, write it down and then write a positive affirmation. Say your affirmation over and over. Feel yourself being that positive affirmation.
Stop being your worse enemy. Start loving yourself, and be your best friend.
Who Cares?

Who cares what others think of us? Just being one's self is the biggest fear that most people have. We have lived our lives trying to please other people and to meet other people's expectations. We have learned to adjust to other points-of-view because of the fear of not being good enough and not being accepted.
During our formative years, we create an image of how (who) we should be in order to be accepted by our parent, teachers, priests and peers. We try to fit an ideal that pleases everyone. Then, when we are grown, we find that we do not know our true selves. We wear a mask that disguises that scared person inside.
We are who we are, and we should know and accept that. Others will either accept or reject us¯as we are! Remain true to oneself by loving yourself. No one is perfect. We must not judge ourselves by others' opinions. Once we accept ourselves, the world accepts us.
People who are unable to accept themselves are insecure. Their insecurity is projected and causes other to react negatively. It reminds them of their own vulnerability.
Once we discover self-acceptance, it is easier to accept other¯so let them be. So I would suggest that you don't spend time speaking of others in a negative manner.
This negative energy will become part of you. Your inner self will have difficulty distinguishing between your true self and your negative thoughts, and thus you will be infused with that negativity.
Find time to know your true self. Spend time with yourself and be your own best friend. You have a unique gift to share with others. Be proud of your true self and don't worry about what other people think of you. Live the life that you love.
Shedding Like a Snake
For many years I have been releasing old, past experiences through my body. Up until a few years ago my body was very tight and restricted because I had held all my childhood fears in my body. We do have a tendency to hold onto every negative, fearful even that happens to us. We live in this world of fear and, as kids growing up, we take on these fears and negative beliefs about ourselves.
Here are a few: We live in a society where kids are mean to other kids because they are too fat, ugly, skinny, wrong skin color, big nose, big butt, wrong color hair, not good at sports, geeky or too poor. The list is endless. We walk around for years with these negative thoughts about ourselves.
Now let me explain what happens to me. Usually from watching a movie, having an argument, or in meditation, I will have a thought flash into my mind from a past event. My mind takes me through the negative event. I will accept whatever happens in that past event and give myself love while centering myself with my Higher Power, spirit, God or whatever you call it.
Upon centering myself, what will happen is that in some area of my body, such as my neck, mid-back, lower back, or legs and feet, that tightness will release, and I will feel a stream of energy going through my body, wherever it releases. (It's wild! Sometimes I cry, yell or roll around on the floor.) Indeed, there is a pattern in which the body hold onto past events. A very good book, You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hay, explains where the body holds onto guilt, sin, insecurity and other negative emotions.
Any times we feel negative energy about ourselves, we can dissolve all those old beliefs through prayer or meditation. We need to realize that we are beautiful, loving people and we can be free in body, mind and spirit. I know my life is free and so is my body. Spend some quiet time alone in meditation to remove any old beliefs about yourself.
Feel young and loving. Live a life you love.
Personality
What exactly is personality?
Personality is the outer expression of what you are inside. Work on your inner qualities and your outer self brightens naturally. When you work on your inner self, you will be more attractive and charming. Your inner self will shine for all to see, like a bright star on a dark night.
Once in a while you may meet a really neat, nice person who, without having said a word, you can sense their peacefulness and serenity. I suspect many people are unknowingly drawn to them because of their persona/aura. Mysteriously, yet in a very real way, they transmit their inner self to everyone around them.
Your personality is a reflection of your inner thoughts about yourself. Go within yourself and find that place in you that is pure. We all have this special place within us. We must sit quietly to find it.
We all have a unique and wonderful quality about ourselves. Make what you have work for you.
